2015 Floria Putrajaya Theme: Tapestry of Hues
This year's annual flower show promises to be the biggest and best yet and has been given the added title of 'Royal' to reflect its growing prestige. This garden festival is the top event in Putrajaya's calendar and over 1,000,000 people attended last year's Floria 2014 which featured 61 showcase garden lots with 43 international participants from 23 countries. The theme this year is "Tapestry of Hues' and the bloom in focus is the Lily so we can expect a fragrant experience with a unique experience of cascading snow showers amidst spring blooms for the first time.
Royal FLORIA Putrajaya 2015 is set to include more than 50 international participants from 28 nations who will put on display their floral and landscape designs. They include floral designers and landscape architects from South Africa, Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Germany, Kenya, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Netherlands, Oman, The Philippines, Spain, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand and The United Kingdom.
Come and be spellbound by the astonishing sound and sight simulation experience depicting a Spring Garden complemented by cool breeze amidst a snowy panorama at the Winter Garden. Be awed by scenic landscapes adorned with tulips, lilies and roses from Kenya and Ecuador. Other attractions are The China-Malaysia Friendship Garden featuring elements of the Lingnan garden, Lily Garden, Royal Garden, Designer Garden, Tea Party Garden, Innovation Garden, Cats Garden, Children’s Garden and Floral Pavilion.
